Founded in 1924 as the Episcopal Church Home, Seabury Resources for Aging will host a Gala for the Ages to celebrate our centennial on May 16th, 2024, 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the National Museum of Women in the Arts!. Join us for a fun night giving this milestone the event it deserves!
Over the years, Seabury has served hundreds of thousands of caregivers and older adults throughout the DC region. We could not have done that without the help of incredible people, churches, and organizations. Learn more about the legacy of these leaders with our Seabury "Hall of Fame" exhibit, and how we are building on the foundation of the past to meet the pressing needs of the future.
Centennial Service Partner: The Episcopal Diocese of Washington
Since the beginning, the Episcopal Diocese of Washington has supported the mission of Seabury and helped elder parishioners in need find affordable housing and services. For many years churches in the Diocese provided Board members to Seabury, and Episcopal priests served as Directors of the Episcopal Church Home. To this day, the Diocese remains committed to honoring the inherent worth of every person by making sure they can age with dignity and independence. For all their support of Seabury and the work they do throughout the Diocese for older adults, we are honored to recognize them as our Centennial Service Partner.
