Boundaries & Ethics with Older Adults Who Have Experienced Trauma presented by Joanna Frankel MSW, LCSW-C.In this interactive seminar participants will gain a better understanding for the importance of clear boundaries with people who have experienced trauma. We will work to understand what trauma is and the impact it can have on individuals and their families. We will pay attention to regulations and Codes of Ethics and use it as a guidance to offer the best and most ethical treatment to our patients. We will also discuss the pitfalls and difficulties that arise when treating patients who have experienced trauma. Jenerations Health Education, #1494, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit.
