Diana Varela has been working as a Public Affairs Specialist at the U.S. Social Security Administration for more than 20 years, and has been with agency for 28 years. The Social Security Administration is an independent agency of the U.S. federal government that administers Social Security, a social insurance program consisting of retirement, disability and survivor benefits.
