Invasion of the Body Snatchers: Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementias presented by Joanna Frankel MSW, LCSW-C. Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias are thought of by many as impacting memory and brain function. What many don’t realize is that these diseases eventually rob patients of nearly all of their bodies’ physical abilities as well. Join us for this interactive program on understanding how Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias impact both the minds and bodies of those afflicted. The physical, cognitive, psychological and spiritual impact on family caregivers will also be explored.
