2nd Family Home Care and Support Services is currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Account Executive to join our fast-growing team! As the Account Executive, you will be the face of 2nd Family in the community- you be tasked to visit target establishments in your territory daily and network with professionals involved in assisting seniors and their families. At 2nd Family, our priority is providing award winning one-on-one in home care to seniors, and your goal will be to ensure that your contacts refer to 2nd Family first when there is a senior in need. Together, we will set you up for success by identifying and mapping out a direct game plan within your territory.

Responsibilities:

• Build and represent the 2nd Family brand by visiting target referral sources within your territory (Howard & Montgomery Counties)
• Establish and nurture relationships with professionals who provide referrals to families in need of our services, which could include: Social workers, Medical/ Nursing professionals, Discharge planners, and Insurance providers
• Attend happy hours, networking events, and expos to facilitate relationships with professionals involved in senior care
• Distribute and replenish marketing material
• Create and present branding strategies for your specific territory

Outline of a sample day:

You will be on the road for the vast majority of this position! On any given day you may drop by several of your target facilities to visit the social workers, introduce yourself to some of the nursing staff, interact with the residents, and lay the foundation of developing your presence at the facility. Later you may attend a networking event and field a few phone calls from prospective clients with questions on our services. You'll wrap up your day by logging all of your daily information into our system and filling our your daily report.

You will be given a high degree of autonomy to develop relationships as you see fit. Relationships are key- if you are someone who enjoys building relationships, networking in the community, and assisting seniors, APPLY TODAY!

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in marketing (or a related field)
• Professional references in a related field
• Comprehension of the senior care industry
• High energy and optimistic personality
• Compassion towards the elderly
