PRCS is seeking a full-time, 30 hour a week Client Aide position at the Eastern Loudoun Adult Day Center. 

If you enjoy interacting with the 60+ population, then this could be the position you’ve been looking for. Reporting to the ADC Manager, top priorities for this position include: 

  • Providing assistance for cognitively and physically impaired older adults 
  • Assisting clients with personal care needs and activities of daily living (toileting, feeding, ambulating, and dressing)
  • Completing health monitoring assessments for clients 
  • Assisting with therapeutic activities 
  • Preparing meals to meet nutritional needs of clients 
  • Communicating client updates 

Successful candidates will: 

  • Provide positive care to older adults with cognitive and/or physical impairments 
  • Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Offer strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Experience working with senior population or other special population 
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Home Health Aide Certificate 
  • Medication management certification 
  • Position requires regular, sensitive interactions with clients who have physical and/or cognitive impairments, including incontinence, mobility impairments and challenging behaviors 
  • Respond to client health emergencies, requiring administration of AED/CPR, First Aid and possible contact with Emergency Response systems 
  • May be required to work different or extra hours due to regulatory requirements, program requirements, and needs of clients or staffing shortage

Successful candidate will 

  • Undergo criminal background check 
  • Submit of a copy of his/her negative TB Test results within 30 days prior to the first day of employment 
  • Hold a Certification in First Aid and CPR or obtain within 90 days of hire 
  • Complete annual Sworn Disclosure Statement
