PRCS is seeking a part-time Client Aide to join our team at the Leesburg Adult Day Center (ADC) in Leesburg, VA. If you enjoy interacting with the 60+ population, then this could be the position you’ve been looking for.
Reporting to the ADC Manager, top priorities for this position include:
Providing assistance for cognitively and physically impaired older adults
Assisting clients with activities of daily living including toileting, feeding, ambulating, transferring and dressing
Completing health monitoring assessments for clients
Assisting with therapeutic activities
Preparing meals to meet nutritional needs of clients
Communicating client updates
Successful candidates will:
Provide positive care to older adults with cognitive and/or physical impairments
Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Offer strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Education and Career Development
•Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma
•Position requires regular, sensitive interactions with clients who have physical and/or cognitive impairments, including incontinence, mobility impairments and challenging behaviors
•Respond to client health emergencies, requiring administration of AED/CPR, First Aid and possible contact with Emergency Response systems
•May be required to work different or extra hours due to regulatory requirements, program requirements, and needs of clients or staffing shortage
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with senior population or other special population
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Home Health Aide Certificate
Medication management certification
Successful candidate will:
Undergo criminal background check
Submit of a copy of their negative TB Test results within 30 days prior to the first day of employment
Hold a Certification in First Aid and CPR or obtain within 90 days of hire
Complete annual Sworn Disclosure Statement
