Larmax Homes develops, owns and manages assisted living and memory care homes for the elderly. Our eight homes are located in Bethesda, Maryland and McLean, Virginia and the company has a strategic plan to expand our footprint in the next several years. We may be a small company, but we are at the forefront of an expanding marketplace and are very well positioned to be a thought leader in the industry. We are looking for a Community Relations Manager who will be instrumental in helping us continue to accomplish great things.

Our Community Relations Manager will build relationships—with the adult children of prospective residents, seniors and professional referral sources. Working with our Vice President of Community Relationships & Partnerships, he or she is responsible for all phases of the sales and marketing process. The successful candidate is a compassionate listener who builds deep connections and follows a disciplined sales process to earn trust and ultimately a commitment. Leads are generated through marketing activities which blend external business development and community-based and educational events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies; accelerate growth of sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with and advise senior management on strategies which will achieve organizational sales and resident population goals
  • Utilize CRM to effectively track data; analyze data and generate reports
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and explain Larmax’s model of care standards and achieve measurable outcomes described in department goals
  • Assist in achieving measurable outcomes as part of department goals
  • Organize and host events for multiple constituencies (including industry professionals) to expand potential resident pipeline and Larmax Homes’ presence in the market
  • Assess, identify and facilitate appropriate interventions in support of families’ needs, such as support groups or visit coaching
  • Take ownership for the success on social media and regularly update online content

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, communication or health and human services; Master’s degree preferred
  • Demonstrated sales leadership experience or comparable outreach experience
  • Established history of successfully adapting relationship building strategies to address challenges
  • Ability to build consensus, manage relationships, and solve problems
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and social media skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and listening skills

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years work experience in health care, senior populations a plus
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM databases; (Salesforce CRM platform experience a plus)
  • Proven track record of event planning, referral source development, and successful sales process execution (from origination to sale completion)
  • Engaging verbal and written communication style
