Aging Well Eldercare is one of the area's longest-practicing Aging Life Care Management services, celebrating our 35th anniversary this year. As professionals dedicated to Aging Life Care Management, we offer knowledge, experience, and compassion to help clients and their families with the challenges of aging and disability. Our team care management team consists of twelve Aging Life Care Managers (nurses, gerontologists, and social workers) who work well together and support each other. 

Our concierge companion team consists of eleven Debbie’s Angels who enjoy the flexibility of their job and who love to work with seniors.  This service, named after our founder, Debra Levy, was created in her memory and honors her desire for the best quality of life possible for clients. Our Angels carry on her passionate work of love and service to the community by improving the lives of older adults and people with disabilities through social engagement and companionship. Our college-educated companions engage our senior clients in social activities in their home and/or in the community where they live. 

We are looking for candidates who will accompany our clients to a variety of events, appointments and destinations including but not limited to the museums, concerts, doctor and dentist appointments, lunch or dinner, sporting events, social club, etc.  Help them with tasks such as grocery shopping, setting up video calls with family, assisting with technology, holiday and birthday celebrations, and maintaining their favorite activities and hobbies. It could also include a walk in the park, or a trip to sit on a local beach, playing an instrument with them, reading their favorite book to them or helping them organize their mail. The opportunities to enrich and improve a senior’s life are endless!

This position does NOT include helping with ADL’s (activities of daily living) and it is a part-time, per diem position.  Currently, we are only considering applicants who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to best protect the older adult population we serve.
