THE JOB: 

The Director of Sales will:

  • Establish and maintain a referral network pipeline for assessments
  • Drive the Company’s assessment sales program by building effective relationships with referral sources, focusing primarily on hospitals’ discharge teams 
  • Develop and implement the statewide direct sales programs for new new market segments (adult children etc.)
  • Manage team to ensure successful achievement of sales activities


THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Direct sales to targeted markets and exceed sales projections.
  • Develop and manage sales operating budgets.
  • Develop and manage sales plans, objectives, and milestones.
  • Manage and direct a sales team to ensure successful completion of goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with marketing team to collaborate and coordinate sales/marketing initiatives.
  • Achieve all sales objectives within budget.
  • Monitor competitor solutions, sales and marketing activities.
  • Representing company at trade association meetings to promote services as needed.
  • Develop scalable procedures for sales.
  • Preparing ongoing forecasts showing prospects, probabilities, and win/loss analysis.

 THE REQUIREMENTS: 

  •  Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in direct sales/business development with demonstrated consistent over-performance of goals.
  • Successful experience managing and growing a sales team.
  • Prior experience selling to the healthcare or medical industry required.
  • Need to be flexible and have demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with staff at all levels.
  • Must have excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be detailed oriented, creative, and resourceful.
  • Must have strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Effective communicator orally and in writing.
