Life at Goodwin House is rich with upscale activities, events, cultural programs, and interesting trips in and around the Northern Virginia area.  At Goodwin House Bailey's Crossroads, we are currently seeking an individual with a passion for working with older adults to join our team as our Events and Cultural Arts Manager.  In addition to creative and stimulating event planning, the Events and Cultural Arts Manager is also responsible for budgetary oversight and ensuring regulatory compliance with State and Federal regulations.  Experience working with older adults is required.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • At least two years of experience working with older adults required.
  • At least two years of experience in event planning, activities or related recreational field required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must have advanced computer and technical skills.
  • Must possess sincere kindness, compassion and empathy for others.
