Our Lady of the Valley Assisted Living and Nursing Community, located in scenic Roanoke, VA, is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator to provide leadership and oversight of the day-to-day management of our not-for-profit community.  Our Lady of the Valley has provided assisted living, long term nursing care, skilled rehabilitation in southwest Virginia for over 30 years.  We are currently expanding to offer specialized memory care.

Essential responsibilities include providing the leadership, guidance, and passion to implement high-quality, exceptional service for the residents of the community in accordance with our mission to serve with compassion, teamwork, respect, integrity and dignity.  

Effective communication skills are essential.  

Strong knowledge of regulations, guidelines, practices, and procedures pertaining to assisted living, memory care and nursing home operations is necessary, as well as financial and budget acumen.

The ideal candidate will be a strong, results-oriented leader with critical thinking skills to continually move the community forward through executing a daily intentional plan to attract and retain compassionate leaders and caregivers.

Required Qualifications
Current Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with BS in healthcare or related degree.

Minimum of 3 years recent experience in successfully operating a skilled nursing facility as evidenced by outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with assisted living and memory care preferred.

Ability to grow as a leader within our company, whose headquarters is also located in Roanoke, Virginia.
