The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the overall operation and management of the community to include the marketing and sales, business operations, and financial functions.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years experience in managing an Assisted Living and / or Long Term Care
• Must be a licensed Assisted Living Administrator or Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Virginia
• Management experience to include supervision of staff, interviewing and hiring, coaching, performance management, and employee relations.
• Previous food and beverage and fine dining experience required.
• Proven ability to manage resident relationships and committees.
• Demonstrated success in managing operating expenses.
• Must have a strong sales and marketing background in senior living.
• Ability to identify and build relationships within the local area that drives business into the community, as well as maximize revenue
• Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new applications.
• Excellent written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
