This is a mobile position that requires frequent traveling to DC, Northern Virginia (Fairfax and Loudoun counties) and Montgomery county, MD. 

Montcordia Summary: Montcordia is a private pay, concierge-level senior services program within an established nonprofit agency, Service Coordination, Inc. (SCI).  Montcordia was created for clients seeking a deeply vetted and highly trained team of professionals that deliver truly person-centered care.  Montcordia provides exceptional companion care and Aging Life Care Management services that enable seniors to age at home safely and securely while achieving personally defined optimal quality of life outcomes.

Position Summary:

The Care Consultant (Home Care Sales Consultant) will counsel discerning clients and/or their family members through the sales process, ensuring satisfaction at each step.  When not immersed in the sales process, the Care Consultant will assist the Business Development Manager with promoting Montcordia in the community and developing and maintaining referral relationships. 

Essential Duties:

  • Primary Responsibilities
    • Meet sales targets by building relationships with and counseling prospective clients and/or family members through the sales process:              
      • Identify and promote ways for Montcordia to meet prospective and current clients' needs.
    • Respond promptly to all prospective client inquiries and ongoing communications.
    • Build and maintain relationships with prospects and referral sources through visits and regular contact, ensuring consistent satisfaction.
    • Schedule client assessments with the team and attend these meetings in clients' homes to promote Montcordia, answer questions, and close the sale.
      • Review agreements with clients, answer their questions.
      • Collaborate with the Montcordia leadership team to ensure Care Partners matched with clients meet the client's unique wishes and needs.
  • Support Responsibilities
    • When not engaging in sales activities, support the Business Development Manager to promote Montcordia and grow the referral network:
      • Represent Montcordia at events, networking groups, and in other community settings.
    • In conjunction with the Business Development Manager:
      • Develop and implement creative approaches for identifying and building relationships with key referral sources.
      • Plan and deliver community educational programs.
  • Log all sales and business development support activities in Montcordia's CRM
  • Promote a positive image of Montcordia in the community.
  • Complete special projects or perform other duties as needed.

  • Participate in meetings and training sessions that offer learning opportunities and that promote and enhance skills and professional development.
  • Ensure that assigned organizational project objectives are met.
  • Perform all duties as described and others as required, using the foundation of the organization's philosophies and values.

Education:

·        Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven ability to develop and implement an effective sales plan.
  • Proven ability to consistently achieve sales goals.
  • Poised professional with energy and drive to succeed in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience in senior services
  • 2+ years' sales experience preferred.
  • Existing connections within Montgomery County, MD, and/or Northern VA preferred.

  • Have a reliable automobile to travel to meetings, etc., and a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed to grow the program.

Physical Demands: Generally, presents standard office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position >95% of the time. Continually operates a computer, keyboard and mouse, and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, and mobile Smartphone device. Constantly positions self to comfortably maintain computer equipment. May occasionally be required to move about in an office setting or position office equipment weighing between 10-25 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. The person in this position frequently communicates with other people. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. IT Roles must be able to position self to maintain computers and equipment, including under desks and in server room(s).
