Job Summary

The HRIS Analyst will utilize expert knowledge, skills, and abilities to develop, distribute, and support human resources as needed. The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for managing larger HRIS projects and assisting with managing smaller projects. Provides near zero defect quality, with a focus on risk control and mitigation, operational efficiency, and safe-guarding highly confidential data. Provide high quality HR systems support across the organization, integrate the HRIS system and data. Develop HR data with accuracy and integrity within organization and department users and produce regular management information and maintenance. The HRIS Analyst will lead a variety of HRIS projects and maintain the HRIS systems and databases. 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, and 5+ years HRIS/Payroll experience required or combination of education and equivalent experience. 
  • Minimum 5 years of UltiPro, Kronos or UKG configuration experience in Absence, Payroll, Time Tracking and Benefit modules
  • Experience in Kronos, Ultipro and/or UKG required
  • Experience with SaaS system configuration, user administration and table maintenance including Security, Reporting, data loads, form routing, end-user troubleshooting, etc. is required.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develops and supports UKG system functionality which includes design, configuration, testing, and implementation 
  • Collaborates with HR leaders and other stakeholders to understand business needs and opportunities
  • Ability to understand requirements and provide solutions by developing new functionality or process improvements
  • Analyze issues and develop recommendations for resolution while following our change control processes from review, diagnosis, testing, securing stakeholder approval to deployment
  • Assembles working groups that cross-represent interests and dependencies for projects. Provides effective, timely instruction and communication to teams for adoption, coordination, and increased utilization. 
  • Creates detailed project tasks and timelines that drive success and monitors the team's testing and validation efforts
  • Knowledge of data protection issues and their practicable application in the workplace including the importance of confidentiality
  • Ability to impart knowledge on aspects of HR Systems 
  • Requires strong background in data extraction, manipulation of raw data, data relationships, data mining, ad-hoc analysis, and metrics presentations
  • Elicit requirements and develop appropriate solutions for tasks of all levels of complexity. Analyst will generate report solutions using designated systems. Analyst will leverage technical knowledge and will design, modify, and populate relational databases. Ability to understand department needs is required
  • Requires an understanding of Human Resources policies and terminology, and business Administrator processes
  • Knowledge or aptitude to provide troubleshooting expertise to users on an ad hoc basis when the scope of the problem exceeds the assigned administrator level of intervention.
  • Requires an understanding of system interfaces with other HR systems such as UKG.
  • Must have experience with relational databases and querying
  • Ability to meet project deadlines while accurately providing attention to detail. Uses experience, research, and analysis to translate department requirements into effective solutions. Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Must engage end users and leadership to understand the business requirements when called to troubleshoot complex technical and administrative issues and resolve problems in a complex environment
  • This role will also develop and provide end-user support for all core HR systems, as well as continually improving global processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data. 
  • Supports the additional coaching and support required by upgrades and adoption of new functionality
