The Independent Living Administrator role is primarily responsible for providing resident services to Independent Living Residents which include maintaining the Resident Handbook, ensuring that family members are apprised of resident care needs as they arise, and providing transition guidance to residents when appropriate. This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining compliance with CARF-CCAC standards, as well as continuous process improvement. Oversight includes the transportation department and concierge services as well.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field, three (3) to five (5) years of management experience required. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and be available to handle community relations. Must be proficient in the operation of computer applications such as Microsoft Office and AOD and other such productivity tools as required. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Direct and manage all aspects of Resident Services
  • Direct and manage all aspects of CARF-CCAC compliance and accreditation process
  • Direct and manage the Concierge services 
  • Direct and manage Transportation services
  • Direct and manage the Resident Review Team
  • Act as staff liaison to the Welcome Committee
  • Oversee departmental policy and procedure writing and annual review
  • Participate in the Senior Leadership Team which includes meetings; strategic planning; budget management; process improvements, etc.
  • Fulfill Senior Leadership Responsibilities; e.g. MOD, CARF-CCAC, Operations Planning and Reporting
