Job Summary

The primary goals of the Inside Sales Representative are to generate service inquiries and convert them into consultations or new customers. Provide the highest level of customer service in accordance with company standards. This position is eligible for sales commissions.

Essential Functions

  • Answer telephone using professional etiquette
  • Follow the prescribed inside sales process including being responsive, building a strong relationship with the caller, qualifying the client, developing the care profile, gaining commitment, and following up on leads
  • Communicate features, benefits and advantages that relate to the identified needs of each potential client
  • Maintain a minimum 40% conversion ratio converting inquiries into consultations or new clients
  • Communicate effectively and persuasively with all callers
  • Greet visitors to office in a friendly and professional manner
  • Document all service inquiry activity and enter data into designated software system according to standards
  • Schedule consultations for potential clients with Community Liaisons
  • Make contact via phone calls, letters, and emails to current and potential referral sources inquiring about potential clients
  • Contact physician offices of new clients with summary of services provided
  • Establish relationships with community referral sources such as churches, senior centers, etc. as directed by Community Liaisons
  • Follow up on non-converted clients by adhering to established follow-up procedures

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Availability                               

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years in customer service environment preferred.
  • Inside sales experience using consultative techniques preferred.
  • Computer experience with data entry, word processing and Microsoft Windows® based software.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with prospective clients and staff via telephone, email, and in person.
  • Demonstrate excellent perceptive listening skills, recording information in written format.
  • Read, write, clearly speak, and understand English.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to properly prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to work autonomously making sound judgment while following standards and guidelines.
  • Available Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM and occasional evenings and weekends for on-call duties.

Working Conditions/Environment

Office environment.  Also required to travel to potential clients, other local offices and community events.
