About the Position
The Move-In Coordinator (MIC) is an essential member of the Goodwin House Alexandria team, orchestrating the new resident admission and move-in experience from the initial pre-residency medical assessment to their transition into residential life. By collaborating with various departments and liaising with external partners, the MIC ensures that every resident's first impression of Goodwin House is nothing short of exceptional.
Key Responsibilities
Initial Point of Contact: Serve as the primary touchpoint for reservists, addressing their questions and concerns related to the admission and move-in process, and ensuring they have all the necessary Admission and Move-In Packet content.
Apartment Transition Specialist: Work in tandem with various departments to ensure apartment readiness, from facilitating finish selections to ensuring a seamless move, whether it's into residential living or assisted living.
Vendor and Data Coordinator: Align with outside vendors, from move managers to furniture deliveries, and maintain precise occupancy reports through platforms like Salesforce.
Medical Assessment Manager: Assemble, distribute, and process Medical Packets, scheduling all necessary pre-admission medical assessments for prospective residents.
Event Collaborator: Contribute significantly to Sales and Marketing events, liaising with multiple teams to ensure smooth event planning and execution.
Job Requirements
Strong time management and organizational skills, and the ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to form connections and elicit trust from older adults and their support networks; experience working with older adults preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.) or ability to self-teach and quickly master.
Experience with database management (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent).
Minimum of three years’ experience in a professional setting.
Customer service mindset with ability to interface and communicate with colleagues across departments and levels of leadership, residents, visitors, and public.
