At Thrive at Home, the Healthcare Recruiter develops new and enhanced recruiting and selection processes that will attract, select, and retain a dynamic level of talent.   The Recruiter is responsible for the hiring of nursing assistants; understands current needs but looks long term; building a talent pipeline.  The Healthcare Recruiter serves as a key resource in the beginning life cycle of a new employee.

Principal Duties:

  • Ensures that strong positive relationships are developed with potential candidates
  • Manages the talent acquisition process with a sense of urgency to include: sourcing, interviewing, reference checking, background checking, on-boarding and initial lifecycle process. 
  • Establishes a pipeline of potential candidates. 
  • Generates leads via all social media avenues: Indeed, Facebook etc.
  • Organizes and manages caregiver orientations and on-boarding
  • Utilizing required metrics, develops regular reporting and analysis on recruiting effectiveness. 
  • Maintain applicant and interview data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).


  • 2 years’ experience in recruiting required, healthcare industry preferred
  • ATS experience required

Essential Skills/Knowledge: 

  • Ability to work in a fast paced office environment
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-directed and proficient in creating and posting online positions through Indeed, Facebook, and other job boards.
  • Ability to produce, read, and understand online site analytics
  • Ability to use and/or quickly learn relevant computer software programs.
  • Strong communication skills in written, verbal, virtual and in-person formats
  • Ability to enter and maintain accurate data/information
  • High level of project and time management skills; ability to manage schedules and deadlines for ongoing initiative
