General Overview
Our growing Hospice team has immediate openings for weekday and weekend RN Floats to provide assistance with direct nursing care to patients and support to their family members. For nearly 30 years, our hospice has offered a wide range of quality medical and support services, from symptom and pain management to emotional and spiritual guidance for patients and their families. We are the hospice in the community to turn to for exceptional end-of-life care that supports dignity and comfort for individuals, provides peace of mind to families, and honors cultural traditions and customs. Our professionals, experts in current hospice practice, include medical directors/physicians, highly skilled registered nurses, experienced clinical social workers, certified nursing assistants skilled in end-of-life care, chaplains and extensively trained volunteers.

Position Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess an active State of Maryland RN license and a minimum of 2 years of acute care and/or hospice experience. Candidates must have demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide meaningful care to and communicate with the terminally ill. This is a great opportunity for an RN with excellent communication and customer service skills who is detail oriented, caring and organized and has good computer skills. The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a cohesive team but be adept at working independently. Familiarity with electronic medical records a plus. Qualified candidates must have reliable and independent transportation to make facility and home visits throughout Montgomery County.
