PRCS is seeking a full time 30-hour a week Roving Activity Assistant/Passenger Vehicle Operator to join our team at the three Loudoun County Adult Day Centers (ADC) in Ashburn, Leesburg and Purcellville, VA. If you enjoy interacting with the 60+ population, then this could be the position you’ve been looking for. Top priorities for this position include leading one-on-one and group activities for cognitively and physically impaired older adults, assisting clients with personal care needs (mealtime, walking, dressing, toileting), and assisting and supporting transportation to/from their homes. This position will serve seniors in all three of the county Adult Day Centers based on center needs. The position will directly report to the Leesburg ADC Manager and receive day to day job supervision from the Manager of the ADC where working.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Six months experience (activities/personal care) with seniors or special needs population
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
• Medication Management Certification
• Certification in First Aid and CPR
• Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class C, P Endorsement

Successful candidate will

• Undergo criminal background, credit and DMV record checks
• Will provide negative TB test taken within 30 days of hire
• Will have and maintain a valid driver’s license and will undergo a DMV check annually
• Will have or obtain a CDL within four months of hire
• Complete certification in First Aid and CPR must be within 90 days of hire
• Will comply with the Alcohol and Controlled Substance Testing Program as outlined by Loudoun County's Alcohol and Controlled Substance Testing Policy for Transportation Employees
• Undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening required
