Buckley's for Seniors is offering rewarding part-time job opportunities for college-educated individuals with free time during the day interested in making a real difference in the lives of older adults.  Starting pay is $20-30/hour plus gas reimbursement depending on assignment.

Currently we need staffers willing to serve either the Arlington, Alexandria or Reston areas. Hours are flexible around your schedule but VERY part-time and vary week to week. It's an ideal position for recently-retired professionals, stay-at-home parents, small business owners or others with free time during the day and looking for meaningful employment. Ideal candidates love engaging with older adults, enjoy driving and have a clean driving record, reliable transportation and proficiency in oral and written communications.

As a Buckley's companion you will be providing premium companion and concierge services that include home visits foro socialization, errands, social outings, trips to appointments and other support services to enhance their lives. Our focus is on helping clients extend their independence and, in many cases, we act as stand-ins for adult children who may live hundreds of miles away or have demanding jobs that make it difficult to attend to weekly appointments and activities.
