The Community at Rockhill is so much more than just a place to live or spend the day.
The members of our community will be the first to tell you: the Community at Rockhill is home.
As a close-knit family, our community works together to maintain a caring, accepting atmosphere under one roof. We build lives of meaning and purpose, encouraging each other in intellectual and spiritual growth, physical wellness, and emotional well-being. We’re quick to offer friendship and support, yet are respectful of one another’s privacy.
Flexibility and choice drive every aspect of life at the Community at Rockhill. As a Life Plan Community, we offer multiple levels of care to meet residents’ and families’ needs, placing priority on maintaining a maximum level of independence. Our continuum of care includes Residential Living, Personal Care, Health Care, and Adult Day Services. Many of our amenities are offered á la carte, empowering residents to customize their experiences to suit their needs.
Inspired by Mennonite values and centered in God’s love, we commit ourselves to leading through service, where team members, leadership, and residents treat each other with kindness and dignity. Our residents and team members come from many faith backgrounds, enriching the fabric of our community with their traditions.
Mission
We are a vibrant community providing purpose, dignity, and compassion, centered in God’s love.
Vision
To enrich the lives of all served through innovation and creativity.
In 1935, Katie and Wilmer Alderfer purchased a “tourist home” on 9.9 acres located on the outskirts of Sellersville, PA, where they began to operate a convalescent home for short-term guests. Since then, the Community at Rockhill has expanded on the Alderfers’ vision, creating a community for inspired living that spans all levels of care.
