This is their newest initiative, offering state-of-the-art care acutely focused on providing comfort, safety, and engaging activities for seniors living with moderate to advanced stages of dementia.

Insight Memory Care Center

We are thrilled that the Positive Aging Community Champion Insight Memory Care Center is welcoming Jessica Peters, LALFA, CTRS as their new Assistant Director!

Insight Memory Care Center is a nonprofit adult day health and resource center providing specialized care, support, and education for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments, their families, caregivers, and the community. Serving Northern Virginia since 1984, Insight offers a spectrum of holistic care, with a vision of a community where those affected by memory impairments can achieve the highest quality of life. 

Life Care Affordability Plan

Positive Aging Community Champion Lifecare Affordability Plan welcomes Cynthia Shannon as their new Community Outreach Director. She brings over 25 years of strong sales professional skills in customer relationship management, team building, and account management to LCAP. Previously, she worked in senior housing, information technology, and the services industry. Cynthia loves working with seniors and their families to make a positive impact.
