2017 HomeCare Elite Top Agency: Ranked Among Top 500 of Home Health Providers

The Johns Hopkins Home Care Group was named a Top 500 Agency of the 2017 HomeCare Elite, a recognition of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States. HomeCare Elite awards the top agencies in home health performance measures and is compiled using publicly available data from Home Health Compare and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Cost Reports. Five domains of performance are cumulatively analyzed - quality of care, quality improvement and consistency, patient experience (HHCAHPS), process measure implementation, and financial performance - combined into one overall score, using a weighting methodology that gives the greatest importance to quality of care

The HHCAHPS survey results are collected by a third party; utilized as a standardized tool to measure patient perceptions of care provided by Medicare-certified home health agencies (HHA). With public reporting of HHCAHPS scores, consistently improving patient satisfaction is vital to staying in front of our competition.

We strive to improve the overall care and experience of the patients we care for.
