A Conversation about Aging in Place

A live and interactive discussion to learn about the National Aging In Place Council and their new book Aging in Place Conversations with Tara Ballman Executive Director National Aging In Place Council and several of the co-authors.

Questions Asked

  • Can we buy it without ordering from Amazon?
  • How much advocacy is NAIPC doing?  State, Fed?
  • In addition, get money for home and community based services to age in place
  • It seems there’s an inherent conflict between aging in one’s community as long as possible vs. CCRC’s wanting you to move BEFORE you need personal care, etc.  Please comment.
  • Does the National Aging in Place Council have a podcast? Does the organization have a service directory?
  • Really not meant negatively, just interested:  what is your business model? Does NAIPC get paid if people use one of the service providers they find on your website?  What % of your budget is covered by membership fees?
