12:49:40     From  Rosalyn Stewart   to   All panelists : Keswick has always paired younger volunteers with our residents for sharing stories, activities such as chess and checkers and just to communicate together.  We have a program every Sunday - Sunday Dining - where volunteers and residents get together over an early dinner to talk, laugh and enjoy each other.  We have also started an "Adopt a Grandparent Program" which was delayed by the pandemic but we hope to get it started again.

I have an online monthly membership for long distance grandparents where I help them nurture strong and meaningful relationshps with grandchildren from a distance. I’m keen for grandparents to have high quality relationships with grandchildren because we know it is a protective determinant against ageism for grandchildren and grandparents.
