12:31:23     From  Jessica Lefevre : Are you aware of any contractors in the region who would work with individual households to form groups and bundle credits, and possibly offer performance contracting services?

12:33:15     From  Steve Gurney - ProAging Community : Performance contracts are budget-neutral. Project costs are paid for by the guaranteed savings realized from efficiency upgrades. Many states and the federal government have enabling legislation that allows them to enter into such contracts with a qualified energy service company (ESCO), such as NORESCO.

12:44:54     From  Kristin Eichleay   to   Hosts and panelists : I recently signed up for a Continuing Care Retirement Community by 2Life opening in 2025 called OPUS Newton in Newton, MA. Their model is unique for CCRCs in that they’re trying to fill the gap between affordable and elite expensive senior housing. They are committed to sustainability and are LEED certified at the gold level, but to keep the community affordable they could not go to platinum. The greater society still has a long way to go toward providing sustainable construction materials at a reasonable cost. If we want more sustainable products we have pay extra.
