A live and interactive discussion with a leading expert on organizing, right-sizing, and preparing your legacy photo collection for your loved ones or clients. Rachel Jenkins of the Photo Archivers Produced in partnership with the Silver Group
As the surviving adult child … and now I have multiple, framed, family photo portraits. Hope you will address this topic.
Why pencil instead of pen?
Hope this question does not interrupt your flow. This is very helpful, educational and informative. But what photo services and care do you actually provide for family or individuals? Again thank you
why organize by type of material, rather than by timeline
Where do I find archival materials?
Are archival boxes plastic bins?
What did you do with photos reduced from collection? Were all the photo collections destroyed?
how are images organized on thumb drive? Can they have a search feature?
Do you go through the negatives in the same way as the photos? They are much harder to see or separate.
What are strategies to purge duplicates in phone, the cloud like Amazon photos, on the computer, etc.
I have newspaper prints that showed my grandmother, me,, my mother and 3 aunts listening to a radio broadcast by my two uncles during WW2 What would you do with that?
Will slides and resources listed on the slides be made available for all participants to use?
Are there any software programs or apps that you'd recommend? To put things in chronological order, find duplicates, put it into an album
How to access a professional?
The Nancy example was so great. Many thanks to you and Nancy for sharing this with all of us?
Do you have people you work with in Montgomery Couty, MD: Bethesda, Rockville,
You mentioned VHS Tapes, can you expand and talk about this a little more?
What was Nancee's end cost just to give us some idea.
