With Tribute at One Loudoun, we redefined everything – starting with the terms. We don’t call older adults “seniors”, we call them… older adults. We don’t have a facility – around here, we refer to that as ‘the f word’. Walk in and see a group of young moms huddled in a cozy booth, coffee in hand, soaking in the parenting wisdom of one of our residents. Around a nearby table, you may see a group of young, ambitious businessmen sharing a beer with several Tribute residents who are assisting in refining a new business plan. Here, your loved one has the opportunity to learn and grow, and still pursue their passions.
We’re in Loudoun County, Virginia (not far from Washington D.C.) in the middle of One Loudoun, a new town center development that is the hottest place around. Shopping, restaurants, and movie theatres are just a short walk away. The property features a gorgeous, lush terrace and a restaurant, overlooking a brand new public park next door. Relax in our bar with high-back booths or grab a coffee and relax by the fire in our bistro.
If needs arise in the years to come, know all of our team members are NIDE (National Institute for Dementia Education) certified, which is a mouthful to say, but simply means that our team members are prepared and qualified to interact with your loved one as a unique human being, not a case study. Tribute at One Loudoun team members (employees) come to work each day to build long lasting friendships with our older adults. Many of our key leaders bring valuable experience to our industry from other fields. Simply put, our leaders believe that if we treat our team well, they will, in turn, love our residents well.
