Our experienced, committed staff, trained to meet the special requirements of those with memory loss, is on duty 24 hours a day to assist residents with activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding and toileting.

Staff members cultivate close and personal relationships with each resident, contributing to their sense of security, belonging, and stability. The staff at Avalon Homes is devoted to treating each resident with dignity and respect and assisting them to maintain the highest level of independence possible.

In addition to the personal attention paid to the residents of our homes, our staff pays careful attention to the homes themselves. They perform daily housekeeping functions, such as laundry, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning in common and private areas, and others. In addition, they conduct activities according to the program, prepare, serve, and clean up meals, and report maintenance problems to the administrator, insuring a safe environment for our residents.

Services provided include three home-cooked meals a day, snacks and beverages between meals, housekeeping and laundry services, an activities program and dependable medication management.
