Mt. Vernon Nrsing & Rehab Center is currently seeking a Full Time Admission Coordinator to assist the Admission Department with a variety of functions. The primary responsibility of this position is to review and respond to all admission inquires in a timely manner. Other responsibilities include and are not limted to: Coordination of all admissions, including generating and obtaining all admission paperwork; communicating with resident/patient, family and staff and appropriate follow-up; assist in presenting MVNRC to potential residents/patients and their family members; and provide data entry support for the pupose of generating monthly and annual reports.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years or more experience as an Admission Coordinator in a Long Term Care setting with a medical background.
  • Excellent Communication, Organizational, and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Proven skill set to build mutually beneficial relationships with referral sources and family members.
  • Oriented to working with co-workers/team player.
  • Computer savvy with experience working with admissions and/or marketing software programs.
  • Detailed Oriented.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast pace environment and adapt to a flexible work schedule.
  • LPN or Associate or Bachelor degree in a related field.
