General Function: Administer, monitor and continuously improve a grant-funded program that works with Montgomery County area Villages in providing coordination of volunteer drivers and older adults in need of immediate escorted, door-through-door transportation. Work with emerging villages throughout Montgomery County. Work closely with Marketing/Outreach staff. Provide detailed client and volunteer driver records; become expert with Ride Scheduler database for input and reporting purposes. Track the program budget. Submit reporting to grantor accurately and on time. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality. Be a motivated self-starter who helps ensure that JCA’s performance meets or exceeds contracted goals.
Requirements:
Able to handle multiple priorities.
Ability to keep accurate records; provide reports to funder for detailed monthly invoices.
Clear, concise communicator in speech, via phone and writing; exhibit excellent customer service at all times.
Ability to respond to customer telephone, written and other inquiries about the program in a prompt and professional manner.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with community partners, the villages, volunteers and staff.
Familiarity with word processing, Excel and database list management programs in Windows 2007.
Demonstrated ability to learn and train others on a web-based database.
Access to transportation and willingness to travel locally
Bachelor's degree in human services or a transportation related field plus at least two years experience working in a busy office preferred. Or any equivalent mix of skills, abilities, experience and education that would render a candidate suitable for this position.
Classification: Exempt
This is a grant-funded position through March 31, 2016. Continued employment is based on future funding. Reporting Relationship: Reports to Director, Mobility Management EEO
