Position Summary:
Working in accordance with established company policies and procedures, provides sales, marketing, and networking for the community.

Essential Functions:
  • Ensuring that budgeted occupancy goals are met or exceeded at all times.
  • In conjunction with Director of marketing, planning and implementing sales-related activities to generate leads for the sole purpose of meeting or exceeding budgeted occupancy goals.
  • Developing and executing strategic marketing plans to accomplish Marketing Team’s shared objective of meeting or exceeding budgeted occupancy goals.
  • Developing and implementing high networking base throughout the service geographic area of the facility to include, but not limited to, professional organizations and health agencies.
  • Keeping marketing data current and accurate to include, but not limited to, lead status, census changes, and marketing statistics.
  • Collecting and formatting data for market studies, competitive analysis, new facility development, and marketing programs.
  • Coordinating tours for potential residents, families, or others, ensuring that individuals are treated courteously and receive positive customer service.
  • Attending educational seminars as needed or appropriate to include, but not limited to, corporate marketing meetings, networking functions, home visits, and visits to other health care providing facilities.
  • Providing required paperwork to Director of Health and Wellness and Executive Director prior to move-ins, as per state regulations.
  • In conjunction with Director of Sales and Marketing, coordinating meetings with appropriate department heads prior to move-ins.
  • In conjunction with Director of Sales and Marketing, reviewing, updating, and coordinating Top 10 Board on a daily basis.
  • Assisting, as directed, with evening, weekend, and holiday coverage of community.
  • When assessed by “secret shopper” during a phone or in person shop, assesses at a “satisfactory” or “good” level or above.
  • Prioritizes and schedules sales activities to align with department goals to reach designated monthly, quarterly, and annual occupancy goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • Must be knowledgeable of all services of Morningside.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to speak and write effectively in English.
  • Must have essential computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have excellent customer service and follow-through. Must be a strong team player.
  • Must have strong time managements skills and the ability to organize and handle multiple priorities in an efficient manner.
  • Must be a role model to Morningside House employees in exhibiting a gracious, pleasant, out-going, and caring attitude and interacting positively with a professional attitude and demeanor.
  • Must have strong commitment and adherence to company values and policies.
  • Must adhere to confidentiality procedures to ensure that HIPAA and Morningside House standards are met or exceeded at all times.
  • Must follow established safety and infection control policies and must report all accidents and incidents in a timely manner.
  • Must have ability to be flexible to ensure department is covered at all times.
  • Must be able to maintain satisfactory attendance as per Policy #871 and must be able to report for duty as scheduled.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age or over.
Nonessential Skills and Experience:
  • Customer service skills within an assisted living environment.
  • AA or college degree desired.
  • Minimum of one year experience and exposure in caring for geriatric population.
  • Minimum of one year working experience in a professional work environment preferred.
