Howard Gleckman is regular columnist for Forbes and the author of Caring for Our Parents: Inspiring Stories of Families Seeking New Solutions to America’s Most Urgent Health Care Crisis, published by St. Martin’s Press.

He has appeared on CNN, CNBC, C-Span, NPR, Fox Business News, and the BBC, and been a guest on the Diane Rehm Show, To the Point, Here and Now, and Marketplace. He has spoken to AARP, The Gerontological Society of America, The National Council on Aging and the American Society on Aging, the National Academy of Elder Care Attorneys, Academy Health, and the Society of Actuaries.

We are located in Northwest D.C. on Macomb Street, between Massachusetts Avenue and 39th Street. The parking lot entrance is on 39th Street.


From Downtown:Traveling on north on Massachusetts Avenue, cross 39th Street and make the next right at Macomb Street.


From the 495 Beltway, Rockville, and Bethesda:Take Wisconsin Avenue south, toward Chevy Chase/Downtown, D.C. Proceed past the Mazza Gallerie (right side), Sidwell Friends School (left side), and Fannie Mae (right side). Several blocks after Fannie Mae, take a right onto Macomb Street - Cactus Cantina Restaurant is on the corner of Wisconsin and Macomb. Turn right at the third stop sign onto 39th Street. The Temple parking entrance is on the left.
From National Airport:Take 395 N to the 12th Street exit (Downtown, D.C.). Proceed through tunnel (still on 12th Street NW). Follow 12th Street and until you can take a left onto Massachusetts Avenue. From Massachusetts Avenue take a right onto Macomb Street NW. The Temple is located on the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Macomb Street.

Metro:Take the Red Line to Dupont Circle. Transfer to the N6 bus, which can be taken in front of the Embassy Row Hotel. The bus will stop at Macomb and Massachusetts Avenue.

Metrobus:Take either Metrobus 30, 32, 34, 36 (and 35 during rush hours) from Friendship Heights, Foggy Bottom, Tenleytown, Capitol South, Farragut West, L'Enfant Plaza, and Federal Triangle. Exit nearest to Macomb Street and Wisconsin Avenue. Walk west on Macomb Street for two blocks. Washington Hebrew will be on the left side on the corner of Macomb Street and Massachusetts Avenue.
