Guns & Driving: Considerations for Safety in Dementia Care presented by: Stephanie Goldstein BSW, LBSW. As the older adult population increases, so do those living in the community with dementia. Among varying concerns for caregivers, access to driving and firearms combined with poor insight and safety awareness remains 2 of the biggest arenas for worry. Join us for an interactive program to discuss the impact when persons with dementia have continues access to driving and firearms. Jenerations Health Education, #1494, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Jenerations Health Education maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 01/26/2021-01/26/24.
