Know Thyself: The Impact of Cultural Humility and the Role it Plays in Practice presented by: Stephanie Goldstein BSW, LBSW. It’s no longer enough to be culturally competent; we must elevate our practice to embrace cultural humility. It’s time to turn the mirror on ourselves and confront what we don’t know and be willing to learn. Doing so will enhance our practice and engagement with clients and families. How do we approach this process? Does Implicit Bias play a role? Join us for an interactive exploratory program on cultural humility and learn how to integrate it into practice so we are serving our clients competently. Jenerations Health Education, #1494, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Jenerations Health Education maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 01/26/2024-01/26/2027. Social Workers completing this course receive 2 Cultural Competence continuing education credit.
