Protecting Memory and Cognition: Simple Steps Everyone Can Take presented by Joanna Frankel MSW, LCSW-C. Most health and mental health professionals have healthy patients and clients who worry about their risk for dementia. Do you know how to advise them? Is it possible to delay or prevent Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias? Join us for this interactive program that helps you understand how biological, lifestyle and environmental factors influence our risk for cognitive conditions. Also covered will be how to have constructive preventive conversations with patients, clients and their caregivers about protecting their brains. Jenerations Health Education, #1494, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Jenerations Health Education maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 01/26/2024-01/26/2027. Social Workers completing this course receive 1 General Social Work continuing education credit.
