Edenwald Senior Living, a LifePlan community located in Towson, Maryland, is seeking a proven sales professional to join our team as a residency counselor. Our community is actively working towards an affiliation with Goucher College, a rebranding as a university-based retirement community (UBRC) and an expansion to include 127 additional independent-living units. The resident counselor will be an integral part of our planned priority program and pre-sales for the expansion.   The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with demonstrated results selling senior living, and expertise in developing and enriching relationships with their prospects and the prospects’ influencers through telephone calls, personal correspondence and home visits.  

Requirements of the position:

• Two or more years’ experience in senior living sales.  Start-up or expansion experience a plus. 

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience

• Demonstrated track record of achieving personal sales goals

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Welcome Home (or another CRM)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written

• Ability to handle multiple priorities

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate clients’ schedules

• Outstanding customer service skills and a commitment to serving the senior population and advancing the mission of the Edenwald community
