Suburban Transit Network
Suburban Transit Network, Inc. (dba TransNet) is a private, non-profit corporation consisting of five partner transportation companies. TransNet started its operation in September 1980 as a unique public-private partnership between County government and taxi/paratransit companies. TransNet grew from a pilot project conducted in 1978 to develop a coordinated human service transportation system using existing taxicab companies in Montgomery County, PA. Out of this concept, TransNet has grown into a private, non-profit organization that can be proud of the wide variety of transportation options it offers. Since TransNet’s inception, we have provide individuals with transportation to get where they need to go with independence and self-reliance.
