Research Study: COMMUNITY AGING IN PLACE—ADVANCING BETTER LIVING FOR ELDERS (CAPABLE)

Research Study: COMMUNITY AGING IN PLACE—ADVANCING BETTER LIVING FOR ELDERS (CAPABLE)

Johns Hopkins School of Nursing’s CAPABLE Family Research study is actively recruiting participants for a pilot study. The study is adapting the CAPABLE program for older adults with cognitive impairment or early stage dementia and their care partners. Participants will receive occupational therapist and nursing home visits, along with home modifications and assistive devices. The goal of the program is for participants to develop and work towards goals that help improve daily life. Those who live in Baltimore City/County and who do not live in a long term care setting may be eligible. Please reach out to capablefamilystudy@jh.edu or 410-324-2511 with questions or referrals. A member of our team would be happy to speak with anyone in more details about the study.
