12:11:23 From Steve Gurney - ProAging Community : Robert Leach contact information: rleach@gmail.com
12:11:41 From Nicole Smith : Mitch has a new book out: the stranger in the lifeboat
12:16:11 From Steve Gurney - ProAging Community : Here is Mitch Albom page on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/stores/Mitch-Albom/author/B000AQ79EY?ref=ap_rdr&store_ref=ap_rdr&isDramIntegrated=true&shoppingPortalEnabled=true
12:17:33 From Nathalie de Vazeille to Hosts and panelists : I think that StackCare would have been a wonderful tool for you. StackCare is a passive monitoring system which detects potential falls and issues and send alerts to your phone, to let you know your loved ones need help.
12:25:51 From Joe Sperling : How do we balance desire for information with HIPAA regs?
12:26:41 From Joan Rubin-Kritz : Having been a skilled nursing facility social worker for 21 years, I feel that there are many factors that you haven't recognized which impact communication between staff and family members.
12:27:28 From madhu mehta to Hosts and panelists : This story are heart breaking
12:28:13 From Mike Harrigan : have you studied the stressors and challenges that family caregivers face?
12:28:55 From Nicole Smith : Happy Healthy Caregiver is a good self care resource
12:29:05 From madhu mehta to Hosts and panelists : I am 75 can manage my life but going forward I have concerns on how to navigate life
12:29:47 From Nicole Smith : how do you get the app?
12:32:17 From madhu mehta to Hosts and panelists : technologies are challenging also scary
12:32:23 From Nicole Smith : Have to designate a family member or point person to communicate with the entire family. A quarterback for care
12:36:15 From Nicole Smith : Have to set clear ground rules about communication from the onset of the relationship.
12:48:31 From Mike Harrigan : Who pays for the app? The family or the caregiver facility?
12:48:33 From sharon egitton to Hosts and panelists : Does your app integrate with the current RCMS (resident care management systems), so that it’s not another tool and piece of technology that needs to be adopted and used. There are many companies out there trying to help with real issues and needs in senior living, but there’s not enough integrations and lessening of work going on. What current databases have you created API’s for?
12:48:36 From Joan Rubin-Kritz : So it seems that the app needs a full-time admin to ensure that privacy is maintained.
12:49:02 From Nicole Smith : Looks good but I don't think caregiver supervisors have time to approve photos? I like the giving subscription and the anonymity.
12:52:44 From sharon egitton : I like the app idea. Not sure how a community could effectively manage all functions without an additional staff member who's sole role might be updating information all day. Still, I like the platform. I'd be interested in more information piloting the program.
12:58:54 From Karen Isailovic : I need to jump off for another meeting, enjoyed the discussion.
12:59:43 From Selina Coulbourne : I think that this is a great idea and an app like this for senior care is so needed. I am an APS Specialist and a caregiver for my aging mother who is failing, and am very aware of how important good communication is between NF staff and families. If my mother ends up in a NF, it would certainly give me peace of mind knowing that I would get daily, personal updates about her. Thank you!
12:59:53 From Carla Andersen : Cool, for sure and Brilliant! Thank you everyone
13:03:14 From Nathalie de Vazeille : Thank you! Very interesting!
