Learn about the SYN-ONE TEST®, a skin biopsy test that provides accurate pathological evidence to aid in the diagnostic evaluation of patients with clinical features suggestive of a synucleinopathy like Parkinson’s disease and related disorders.
Good afternoon. Can the panelist speak about Vascular Parkinson?
"So how Early should test be administered? After tremors or other symptoms? Thank you"
How long has this test been available?
RBD???
I might have missed this earlier, but isn’t there already a clinical test available that is based on the spinal fluid testing and Kinked alphasynucien about which recent medical article was published?
Is there somewhere, perhaps an article that is in layman's terms, that describes the new drugs developed to help with Parkinsons.
Just want to mention that I was in care for Parkinson's symptoms since April 2023, first being told I had Parkinson's, then being told they weren't sure. Following that second opinion, I had many tests including a Datscan, with nothing conclusive. Last Friday, I was told on the basis of a skin biopsy that I conclusively have Parkinson's. I am very thankful for the availability of this new test! I have a second condition that confused the diagnosis. The skin biopsy clarified things.
"Multiple sclerosis, drop foot, tremors, claw foot, and narcolepsy and epilepsy...Does your Virginia center provide health care for any of these conditions?"
