Author and Playwright of Give Your Parents a Standing Ovation: For Caregivers of Elderly Parents

Join us for a discussion with Dr. Gybrilla Ballard-Blakes author of Give Your Parents a Standing Ovation: For Caregivers of Elderly Parents. Her book has been adapted to a stage performance with upcoming shows on September 17 at Bowie Center for Performing Arts. From her early life as the tenth of twelve children, she always stepped in when it came to helping her parents or any elderly person. Ballard-Blakes shares her testament of faith through her journey as a caregiver for her parents.
