RESEARCH PROJECT: Virtual Companion-Guided Support for People Living with Dementia

Join us for a live and interactive discussion with the Making Engagement Meaningful through Organized Routine Interaction (MEMORI) Corps Research Team from Johns Hopkins to learn about this innovative research project and how you and/or your loved one can participate or become a Companion Guide. Quincy Samus, Ph.D. Director, Translational Aging Services Core Joint Appointment in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences

The goal of the MEMORI Corps intervention research study is to find out if providing personalized, virtual companion-guided service by trained Companion Guides can help people living with dementia living at home and support their care partner(s).

We are recruiting two groups of participants: 1) People living with dementia and their care partner(s) who reside together in the same home; and 2) Healthy volunteers 55 years of age and older to serve as Companion Guides.
