Who Will Speak for You If You Cant Speak for Yourself?

Only about 30% of people have planned ahead in case they can’t speak for themselves during a serious illness or emergency. Val Walker of Voice Your Choice, an innovative community-based advance care planning program will share tips and technology to help us, our loved ones, and our clients wishes are honored whether they are 18 or 108. Voice Your Choice, a program of Nexus Montgomery led by JSSA, provides information and resources through local community training and can help you develop a plan to have your health care wishes known if you are unable to speak for yourself.
