12:11:56     From Adele Logan-Galen : I have a will and a trust and an ADM but am not sure if I have my shit together.  I don't like thinking about it!

12:25:26     From Carolyn Warren : Love this topic!  I lost my husband nine years ago and I still am trying to get my s— together.  This conversation is so encouraging.  Thanks so much!

12:33:19     From Susan V  to  Hosts and panelists : Can you discuss how to find someone ot be POA?

12:38:40     From Mary Goettelmann : How does one know if you should set up a trust.  I have one daughter and everything will go to her when I pass away.  She is my power of attorney for financial and health decisions.

12:38:56     From Steve Jefferys : My dad died in 2019 leaving my mom a widow. She had relatively little stress after he died. She had a lot of stress before he died (caregiver stress). She had her shit together because her financial planner covered all this stuff with her. She was lucky that I was her financial planner.

Maybe 2% of the financial advisors go into this kind of detail.  You can find some at Napfa.org .

12:46:20     From Susan Kousek : Would you have a separate power of attorney document for the digital power of attorney?

12:53:32     From Steve Jefferys : Everyone should consolidate their accounts as much as possible. The fewer the accounts, the easier to manage. In general, you should have no more than 5-7 funds in each account (and sometimes 1-2 is appropriate).. With fewer holdings, you can do tax planning much easier.

12:57:12     From Joe Sperling : We should take care of this stuff when we don't HAVE TO.

12:58:13     From Steve Jefferys : Write down all your doctors names, address, phone, and what are you being treated for. Make sure you give this info to kids, etc. Try to make sure the medical records can be viewed at the hospital.

12:59:43     From Steve Gurney - ProAging Community : https://getyourshittogether.org/

13:10:11     From Susan Kousek : Excellent presentation. Thank you for sharing your story.

13:11:01     From JOYCE DIMMOCK : Wonderful presentation

13:11:05     From eileen kogut : Thank you!!

13:11:08     From Steve Jefferys : The high rates for estate taxes may sunset at the end of 25. If it goes back to pre 2017 levels , that might be around $7M per person.
