The Aynsley Group is one of several privately held companies formed to provide quality consulting services of a specialized nature. Our practice is limited to ElderCare Consultation.

    Nancy Fiedelman

The Aynsley Group is managed by Nancy Fiedelman who is an ElderCare Consultant specializing in providing individualized consultation to adults with aging relatives, as well as to older adults planning for their future needs.

Our clients are typically located in the Metropolitan Washington D.C. area, or have relatives who live there. Sometimes our clients are individuals seeking guidance in evaluating and planning for their changing needs.

As an educator and advisor to those dealing with, or planning for, the practical matters of lifestyle modifications required to accommodate changing needs, Nancy empowers her clients to make and implement informed decisions. Educated at the University of Wisconsin as a social worker, she has more than thirty years experience working with the issues facing our maturing population.

As a medical social worker at the Washington Hospital Center, Nancy worked with countless patients and family members coping with the physical and emotional issues of aging.

Nancy has a history of supporting community outreach and educational initiatives through active involvement in organizations focused on the delivery of quality services to older adults in the community. She is a member of the Fairfax Area Long Term Care Coordinating Council (LTCCC), and has a long standing affiliation with JCA (the Jewish Council for the Aging – a non-sectarian organization). She is a member of the JCA Executive Committee, of its Board of Directors, and of the Advisory Committee for its Misler Adult Day Center/Gorlitz Kensington Club. Nancy has also served as a member of the Board of GROWS (the Grass Roots Organization for the Well-being of Seniors), and with the Arlington Steering Committee for Services to Older Persons.

Nancy serves as a presenter/facilitator for educational seminars to groups seeking a better understanding of caregiver issues, and has conducted numerous programs for employees at several government agencies. Widely respected in the industry, she has been quoted in national publications including Business Week and HR Magazine, and in the book Caring for Our Parents.
